Aaron & Melissa's Wintergarden Wedding in Rochester, NY

Aaron & Melissa Hurtt’s wedding day truly felt like something out of a romance novel. From emotional first looks to a surprise twist during the ceremony, every detail was intentional, heartfelt, and full of joy, the kind of celebration every wedding photographer loves to capture.

The morning began with Melissa surrounded by her bridesmaids, sharing sweet and emotional first looks that set the tone for the day. She also had a heartfelt moment with her dads before seeing Aaron, the love of her life, for the very first time that day. These moments weren’t rushed, they were treasured, giving space for real emotion to shine through.

Their ceremony at the Wintergarden by Monroe’s in Rochester, NY was nothing short of magical. The light-filled glass atrium created a dreamy backdrop for their vows. But there was a twist... no ring bearer in sight. Instead, the wedding rings were hidden under one lucky guest’s chair. Watching the entire room search for them filled the space with laughter and an unplanned, joy-filled energy.

After the ceremony, we made a stop at the Memorial Art Gallery for newlywed and bridal party portraits. The timeless architecture and art-inspired surroundings were the perfect contrast to the modern, airy feel of the Wintergarden. It gave Aaron & Melissa a variety of backdrops in their wedding gallery, from romantic to artistic.

Once dinner wrapped up, Aaron and Melissa snuck away to the rooftop just in time for sunset. The golden light and quiet intimacy of those moments were pure magic. Later, the celebration continued under the stars, visible through the Wintergarden’s glass roof as they danced the night away.
